"LA BOTTEGA DEL
RE" IN THE PRESS
Since it opened in 1998,
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE, which
specializes in the preservation, repair, restoration and sale of
period chandeliers, has not gone unnoticed. It has been talked about
by various local media in Bergamo with various mentions and features
in articles, radio programs and television. Those who appreciate
unique objects and are interested in high class antiques as well as
contemporary crafts (eg. Murano chandeliers) and those who recognize
the creativity and ability of craftsmanship have been able to follow
the evolution of LA BOTTEGA DEL RE.

From April 1st to
December 19th 1999, Annibale Carlessi,
owner of the LA BOTTEGA DEL RE,
collaborated with “Radio Alta”, a local radio which covers
Bergamo and the entire “Bergamasca” province. |

Mr.
Carlessi has been a guest on
“Bergamo TV” for several weeks beginning April 8th 1999, in the
cultural show “Grandangolo”, broadcast at prime-time on
Thursdays. The programme covers cultural activities and events
and hosts interviews with prominent public figures.

In the summer of 2009,
Annibale Carlessi staged an
important exhibition of paintings, period chandeliers and rare
precious objects in the town of Gromo, which was open to
residents and tourists of the entire Seriana Valley.
In 2009, the
fortnightly magazine ARABERARA dedicated ample space to
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE.
QUI BERGAMO published in
2004 a feature article entitled “Abitare
il Settecento” (18th century living) dedicated to the most
elegant and exclusive houses in Bergamo. The splendid
lighting featured in the article shows original chandeliers
decorated with crystal drops provided by
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE.
Again in 2004, following a visit to
Bergamo’s Accademia Carrara, the famous Italian art critic
Vittorio Sgarbi discovered LA
BOTTEGA DEL RE. After passing in review each individual
precious object on display, and commending the restorations carried
out on the most valuable works, he left a kind token of his
appreciation.
Always in 2004,
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE obtained a
significant tribute from OROBIE, a monthly magazine dedicated
to nature, culture and tourism.
In 2004
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE was featured
in the GIORNALE DI BERGAMO once again.
In 2003 the GIORNALE DI
BERGAMO newspaper dedicated an entire page to Mr.
Carlessi featuring a presentation
of the shop in Via S. Tomaso.
In 2001
LA BOTTEGA DEL RE obtained
coverage on QUI BERGAMO, a local monthly news magazine
targeted in particular to professionals in the commerce, industrial,
touristic and cultural sectors.
